KLH conjugated synthetic peptide comprised of amino acids 11 - 25 [FLERLEARGGREGAV] of the human protein tyrosine phosphatase non-receptor type 18 (PTPN18) protein.
Accession number:
NM_011206
Description:
Protein tyrosine phosphatase non-receptor type 18 (PTPN18) is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. PTPN18 contains a PEST motif, which often serves as a protein-protein interaction domain, and may be related to protein intracellular half-live. PTPN18 is mainly expressed in brain, colon tissues, and several different tumor-derived cell lines.
Alternative Name(s):
BDP1, brain-derived phosphatase
