Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: human
Buffers: Purified rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column and eluted out with both high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately after elution then followed by dialysis against PBS.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8ºC for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20ºC. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: Tested by peptide-specific ELISA (1:1,000), WB (1:1,000).

Immunogen: KLH conjugated synthetic peptide comprised of amino acids 677 - 692 [GESIAVKKRKCSLLDT] of the human "DNA cross-link repair 1C (DCLRE1C, PSO2, artemis)" protein.

Description: DNA cross-link repair 1C (DCLRE1C, PSO2, artemis) is involved in V(D)J recombination and DNA repair. DCLRE1C has a role in T and B lymphocyte immunodeficiency and in predisposition to lymphoma through the NHEJ pathway of DNA repair. Artemis mutations cause human T-B-severe combined immunodeficiency associated with increased cellular radiosensitivity (RS-SCID). DNA-PKcs regulates DCLRE1C by both phosphorylation and complex formation to permit enzymatic activities that are critical for the hairpin-opening step of V(D)J recombination and for the 5' and 3' overhang processing in nonhomologous DNA end joining.
